Privacy Policy

The financial inputs you provide — income, expenses, investments, goals, and assumptions — are saved in your browser's local storage on the device you use. If you do not create an account, this data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.

Creating an account is optional. If you sign up (via email or Google), we use a third-party authentication and database provider (Supabase) to store your login credentials and, if you choose to sync, a copy of your plan so it is available across your devices. We never sell or rent your personal data.

We do not access your bank accounts, brokerage accounts, or any external financial institutions. All projections are calculated from the numbers you type in. We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which features are used and to improve the product. Authentication uses cookies or local storage strictly to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can clear your local data at any time by clearing your browser storage. If you have an account, you can request deletion of your account and any synced data by contacting us. Because data is local-first, deleting the app data on a device removes it from that device.

Fire Finance is intended for adults planning their finances and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Fire Finance after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
